trevor thinks this is so funny

Having a little pizza "picnic" the other night. Trevor tried a new trick and was quite pleased with himself.

little lizard friend

We're always on the lookout for our little lizard friends. Here's a little guy, Trevor thinks it's silly that they're scared of us. He's a lot more brave around them than I am. Pulling weeds earlier this year, I just about grabbed one in my fist and that was enough to make me squawk! But he'd touch them if he could. After all the rain we got last week we had a couple of frogs in our garage. David and I tag teamed to get them out and Trevor had a great time seeing them up close and then watching them hop away into the drainage grates.

crafty, crafty

A friend of mine had a baby shower on Saturday for her little girl coming next month and I made a few little goodies to give. I used a pattern I found online for the wipes/diaper envelope and made my own template from one of my favorite bibs that I used with Trevor. I thought it turned out really cute! I have some extra chenille and flannel and will be making a few more - I'm excited to make some for baby boy. The only problem with sewing is that I kind of take over the kitchen for a good 24 hours so no one gets fed and nothing else gets done while the sewing machine is out. But it's OK because when the sewing stuff is out, I can still be in a good mood even if the house is a disaster. :0)

belly pics

Here is a REALLY cute belly! I told Trevor I was going to take a picture of my baby belly for Grandma to see. "What about Trevor's belly??" I'm starting to feel like there's not much left of me to give. With Trevor I had sore ribs from about this time until a few days after I had him. It was the best feeling to not have his little feet up in there! So I'm guessing his little brother's feet will take up residence any day now and stay there until July.

I decided that if the baby really loves his mama, he should come on July 14th - Trevor's half birthday (which would just kinda be fun) and a couple of days early (which would just make me a happy girl). But I'm trying to get myself into the mindset of at least 1 week over due, as I did with Trevor. That worked great, especially when he came 1 day early. I was pleasantly surprised and never felt too anxious about when he would/wouldn't come. This time I'm just worrying about coordinating all the travel, which really can't be done when we are working on an unknown time table. On Thursday I have another ultrasound to check up on how little guy is growing, so hopefully the due date will come out right again and we can start making some plans for some visitors to welcome this little guy.

easy as 1-2-3

Thank goodness for technology! Trev has learned his ABCs and numbers mostly with the magical powers of technology. Thanks Grandma Barbs for the computer!
