My Boys

I sure do love em!

Brrr!

I had to turn the heater on this morning because it's freezing! There is even snow on the mountain now, though we just had rain here. Mom sent me a few bottles of tomato juice to make macaroni and tomato. YUM! I can't wait for a cold night, where I'm missing my momma and thinking about home and I can make a warm bowl of soup and feel warm and happy inside! Thanks mom, you're the best!!

Parker's Birthday and more....

We've been busy busy the past week! Here are some of the highlights:

Danelle, Aaron, and Evan moved to Houston. This isn't necessarily a happy highlight (for us) because we'll miss them, but I'm sure they will be happy and enjoy living near the Hae Haes. We had to take a picture of the three boys before they left. Since pretty much all the bigger boys know how to do is hit and poke eyes, it was a little tricky getting a good picture, but this is the best one we could get.

Grandma and Grandpa Jones came to visit.
Brent and Barbara came for the football game this weekend and we had a great time with them here. We wish Trevor could see all his grandparents more often!

Parker's Birthday!
Parker (Trevor's cousin) turned 1 this week. I can't believe how fast time has flown by! But he was so cute and we had a great time hanging with everyone at his birthday party. Way to get that cup cake PJ!

Ryan was also in town for the game this weekend and stopped by with Brad for a while. Always good to see my favorite brother in law (from Boise). :)

Trevor climbs stairs!

Yikes! Trevor climbed his first stairs this week. He went all the way from the bottom of the stairs at Paul and Laura's clear to the top. I could tell he thought he was pretty smart and oh so tricky.

On a more serious note, when Trev started crawling a while back I honestly did not know what I was going to do!!! Work became nearly impossible because I felt like no matter what I did, no matter how many toys I surrounded the little guy with, he would be crawling over and looking up at me with those big baby browns, whining until I picked him up. Ugh! I was not able to get ANYTHING done. I never imagined working full time from home with a baby would be this hard. It's draining and some days I feel like I've gotten nothing done, but all I've done is worked?!?! But, I feel like this week we're making a break through and things are a little more manageable. Maybe my expectations have just changed; I really don't know! But I do finally feel like we can make this work. I feel lucky just to have the opportunity to work at home and to work for such a great company! It is a blessing!

And last, but certainly not least...

Trevor, meet Pen!

Five minutes alone.... and here's the damage.

No words...except - What a wonderful week!

Mind over matter...

Any of you who know David have probably heard his little saying... "Not getting sick is just mind over matter. I just tell myself that I don't get sick, and I never get sick."

Riiight....

Poor guy has been sick this weekend. Adding insult to injury, BYU lost this weekend. He's recovering slowly but surely.

But Danelle and Aaron (and Evan, of course) came down this weekend to help with Trevor while I went to work on Friday. All the rest of the Utah fam (Kim, Paul, Laura, and Parker) - along with a few of Dave's friends - joined us to watch the game Saturday night.

One of Trevor's favorite play things is a toothbrush (yes, making his aunt AJ and uncle Aaron happy). He especially likes to look in the mirror while chomping on the bristles. Here he is sitting under the table hanging with David while slobbering all over it (and himself).

Leaves are Turning

One of the best things about living in Utah is the beautiful scenery. We have the most beautiful view of the mountains from our front porch. I try to appreciate it every day. I just noticed today that the leaves in the canyon are turning beautiful shades of firey orange and red. I took this one standing at the front door; I wish it could do the view justice.

Kev's Game

Here's the big guy with the little guy!

Trevor's Car Singing

This was actually back in June, but I just wanted to test out how to post a video.

Boise Trip

Trev and I had a great time in Boise this past week. Mom and I couldn't help but think it was the one trip in a long time that didn't fly by so fast that it was over before it began.

We had pics taken of the three little ones -- well at least we tried. Can anyone say disaster?? Yeah, let's say the prettiest part of the whole day were the cute little outfits that Mom bought for the kiddos.

Thursday Mom, Dad, Trevor, Sydnie and I went to Kev's football game in Mountain Home. Go Eags! He recovered a fumble and should have had an interception. (Lame refs!!) But I'm so proud of you Kevin! You are awesome!
